Why "Boring"?
When I decided to start my own agency, I knew I did not want to chase trends. After over a decade of building websites, designing brands, and working with clients across the globe — from the Philippines to Australia, the US, and Europe — I had seen enough shiny tools come and go. What actually works for clients is rarely the flashiest option. It is the reliable one.
That is why I named it The Boring Solutions.
We are a framework-agnostic agency. That means we do not lock clients into a single platform. Need a marketing site? Webflow might be the move. Running a blog or membership site? WordPress could be the right call. Building a SaaS product? Next.js is probably the answer. The point is: we recommend whatever fits the project, the budget, and the long-term goals.
The Early Days
Starting out was not easy. I had just become a father in January 2026, and balancing a newborn with launching an agency meant I needed to work smarter, not harder. I could not afford to spend hours on repetitive tasks like scaffolding projects, writing boilerplate, or debugging routine issues.
That is where Claude came in.

I started using Claude Code as part of my daily workflow, and it quickly became indispensable. Here is how I use it:
Project Scaffolding and Architecture
When a new client project comes in, I use Claude to help me plan the architecture. Whether it is setting up a Next.js app with the right folder structure, configuring Tailwind, or wiring up API routes — Claude helps me go from zero to a working foundation in minutes instead of hours.
Code Generation and Review
For repetitive patterns like form handling, API integrations, or component libraries, Claude generates clean, production-ready code. But more importantly, I use it as a second pair of eyes. It catches edge cases I might miss and suggests improvements I had not considered.
Automation Workflows
A big part of what we offer at The Boring Solutions is automation — using tools like n8n, Make, and Zapier. Claude helps me design these workflows by mapping out triggers, actions, and conditional logic before I even open the automation platform. It is like having a solutions architect on call 24/7.
Debugging and Problem-Solving
When something breaks at 2 AM and the baby is finally asleep, I do not have time to dig through Stack Overflow. I describe the issue to Claude, paste the error, and more often than not, I have a working fix within minutes. It has genuinely saved me hours every single week.
Content and Documentation
Even this blog post was structured with Claude's help. From drafting proposals to writing technical documentation for client handoffs, it helps me communicate more clearly and professionally — which matters when you are running a one-person operation trying to look like a team.
The Philosophy: Right Tool, Right Job
The name "Boring Solutions" is a bit tongue-in-cheek, but the philosophy is real. I have seen agencies push expensive, over-engineered stacks on clients who just needed a simple landing page. I have also seen businesses outgrow their cheap website and have to rebuild from scratch.
We sit in the middle. We assess what you actually need, and we build exactly that — no more, no less. And with Claude as part of my toolkit, I can deliver at a speed and quality level that used to require a full team.
What is Next
I am still in the early stages of building The Boring Solutions, but the foundation is solid. I am working on expanding our service offerings, bringing on collaborators, and continuing to refine how AI fits into a professional development workflow.
