What I'm up too

I recently became a father on January 19, 2026, which has been a rewarding new chapter for me. Professionally, my path started back in 2014 as a graphic designer. Since then, I have been moving toward full-stack development one small step at a time. It has been a steady, quiet journey, and I know there is always more to learn. In the past, I finished a double degree in information technology and social sciences, interned at a local tech company here in Davao City, and have spent over 10 years building various side projects. I also had the opportunity to be part of the first no-code organization in the Philippines.

These days, I am the founder of The Boring Solutions. We are a framework-agnostic agency, which means we focus on recommending the right tools and tech stacks for each unique project. Our goal is to either provide the best value for a client's budget or build out a fully scalable solution when the situation calls for it.

Gmail Attachment Filing

|

Client project, remote

A Make scenario that files email attachments so nobody has to name them. Gmail is watched for mail carrying attachments, each one is listed and handed to Gemini, which reads the actual contents of the PDF, DOCX, XLSX or CSV and returns a short descriptive filename rather than another scan_0043. The renamed file lands in a set Google Drive folder, a row goes into a Google Sheet with the timestamp, the original name, the new name and the file type, and a summary email goes out once the file is through. Every step is its own module, so a new file type or a different destination folder is a config change instead of a rebuild.

Xero Report Export to Asana

A Make scenario that ends a monthly copy-paste job. Marking a task complete in Asana triggers a call to the Xero API for last calendar year's transaction-level data. Xero's API does not expose the General Ledger Detail report the client actually wanted, so the Account Transactions report stands in: rows are iterated into a Google Sheet, read back as a range, and aggregated into a CSV that matches what you get downloading the report by hand. The file lands as an attachment on the completed task and the sheet is cleared, so the next run starts on an empty slate.

Lead Qualification Pipeline

A Zapier workflow that turns raw inbound leads into a scored, routed pipeline. A webhook takes the name, email, company, company size, website and lead source in real time, then an enrichment API fills in what the form never asked for. Each lead is scored on company size and fit, written to a Google Sheet, and anything clearing the high-priority bar pings the sales team immediately. A final Zapier AI step drafts a short personalised outreach email from the enriched record, so the rep opens a reply rather than a blank page.

Ready to Start spins up a Google Drive folder named after the lead and a Social Media Content subtask linked to it. No Response and Quoted run escalating text and email chases until the client replies. Approved sends a welcome email with the PDF attached, and Paid and Closed sends a service recommendation that changes with what was installed.
